The Indiana State University School of Music opens its concert season with the 12th Annual Faculty Gala Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept.15, in the University Hall Auditorium.
This year’s recital features performances by the School’s new oboe professor Rebecca McGuire, the new Interim Director of the School of Music Ted Piechocinski, plus Ukrainian-born professor Yana Weinstein singing two Ukrainian Folksongs. In addition, Brass, String, and Woodwind Faculty will perform a wide variety of solo and chamber music.
The concert is free and open to the public. A reception in the University Hall Atrium will follow the performance.
