ALL students are encouraged to attend Indiana State University’s Virtual All Majors Job & Internship Career Fair to connect with over 125 employers on February 17 from 12-4 pm on Handshake, the Career Center career services platform accessible through your MyISU.
Students should begin building their schedule now to meet with employers 1-on-1 or in group sessions. Student can learn about attending companies on Handshake by clicking on the company’s name and viewing their profile.
Once registered, the Career Center will send out materials and resources to help students prepare for the fair. Remember to prepare early.
Complete the following list to set yourself up for success:
1. Visit the Career Center’s Career Fair Prep Toolbox to help you prepare for the fair
2. Update your résumé – schedule an appointment with a Career Center staff member on Handshake or stop by the Career Center for a 15-minute walk-in appointment M-F between 10 am-12 pm and 1-3 pm (unscheduled appointments)
3. Update your Handshake profile – Employers can view your profile once you sign up for a group and/or 1:1 session so make sure your experience shines bright on your profile
4. Visit the Clothing Closet in the Career Center for professional attire M-F between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
