The Academy of Rock and Roll provides a fun and educational opportunity for beginner level musicians ages 8-14. Students will develop critical ensemble playing and rehearsal skills by learning to read lead sheets, developing music reading skills. Students will explore different musical qualities of various rock styles while playing one or more of five traditional rock instruments: guitar, drums, bass, keyboards or voice. Final performance will be at the Verve Nightclub/Scout’s Pizzarea on November 21st, pizza or drink purchase required for audience members.
