Dr. Mary Howard-Hamilton, Professor and Chair, Department of Educational Leadership, received the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Robert L. Morlan- Robert Bishop Outstanding Circle Faculty Advisor Award for 2024. The national award recognizes an outstanding faculty advisor for service and dedication to the campus circle and the ideals of ODK which are to encourage superior leadership and exemplary character. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society that champions its leadership values of collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, scholarship, and service. Dr. Howard-Hamilton has been a member of ODK since 1986 and has served as the Indiana State University Circle Faculty Advisor for the past nine years. During her time as advisor she has increased the membership, assisted in the development and receipt of two grants for diversity programming, promoted new service projects, as well as provided support for circle officers to attend the national conference each year.
