Mental Health First Aid certification offered

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend a Mental Health First Aid training that will teach them to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in students. The free training is Friday, May 24 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Landsbaum Center for Health Education, 1433 N. 6 1/2 Street, on Union Hospital’s campus. Participants who complete the course will earn a Mental Health First Aid certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Registration is required and space is limited.
