Universal Design for Learning

Do you teach students who have varying levels of skills, interests, backgrounds, and learning needs? Would you like to optimize teaching and learning experiences in your courses?

Attend these workshops to explore a planning and design framework focused on meeting the diverse learning needs of all learners. The FCTE is offering a series of workshops on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). UDL is an evidence-based framework for planning and designing learning experiences that is based on brain science.

This series of workshops will introduce UDL and then explore the different principles of UDL. Sessions will include information and resources (developed by Angela McKinney, IEP Technical Assistance Specialist), testimonials and tips from colleagues, and time to brainstorm ideas for implementation. Sessions will be facilitated by Melissa Nail.
